Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
4 Tbsp water (maybe a little more)
1 pinch of black pepper
milk or almond milk
Preparing the turmeric paste:
In a small saucepan dilute the turmeric and the black pepper in the water, bring to low boiling mixing all time until it forms a creamy paste (around 7 minutes). Once the paste is ready reserve in a small mason jar with lid. This preparation can be kept in the fridge for around two weeks. Although preparing this paste can seem very simple, it requires concentration to avoid burning the turmeric or overly drying the paste.
Preparing the golden milk:
Bring a cup of the milk of your choice to warm and stir one teaspoon of the paste into it. Serve. You can add cinnamon, nutmeg, raw honey for taste, before serving.
